Awesome, thanks Rachel! I just searched Shelby's YouTube videos and found it that way, but it will be nice to have a quick link to refer back to here. I'm having fun with this! I got to be all messy, which I NEVER do on a LO! I'm doing 8x8 to start with, but so far so good Grin! We'll see how the finished product looks...

Ok, here is what I have so far. I did the painting technique with a slate blue/grey, a pale blue, and white so it looked wintery. Then I used Distress Ink Weathered Wood to distress the edges, and I used StazOn in Dove Gray to do the stamping around the edges with a snowflake flourish and a small snowflake. Then I added a step to make mine pop. It's hard to see in the picture but I also took as my final step a large snowflake stamp with silver pigment ink and clear heat embossing powder, stamped the edge and then used my heat tool. It turned out really cool and wintery I think.

YAY! Shelby's back Grin! We missed you!

Thanks a bunch! I like the way it turned out myself. I think next time I will take your advise and do the 12x12 like in your video, because this was an 8x8 and once I put the pics on, even though I like the final product, you lose a lot of the paint detail. Oh and I promise to load the stinkin' picture of the finished LO today, ROTFL! I've only had it sitting in my camera for, what, 2 weeks now Shocked.
