Today's Inspiration comes from Amy Petermen from Fancy Pants who did this layout.  I like it because it doesn't scream "Halloween"  (no pun intended).  It's one of the reasons i bought this line...  It has several uses...

Base of this page is Fancy Pants Trick or Treat Enchanted.  Looks like she also cut out the bat from the Flying bats paper of the same line.

I tried to make those flowers, and failed miserably.  I *think* it's because I used a scrap of last year's October Afternoon paper, and it's just too thick.  It even "cracked" on the fold lines.

I have a ton of RP's Snowflakes and Mittens line left over, (from what? Like 2006?  I cleaned out Shelby's stock when she put it on clearance!)    It's a lot lighter paper, and it's printed on both sides. So that's what my second attempt will be using.

Maybe I should also follow ALL the directions, and not take shortcuts this time...I'll let all y'all know if I finished.  I can't wait to see yours!

Camille - I didn't know we've met?  Please tell me when!

October Afternoon is pretty thick...  Obviously FP works and I know I used Basic Grey and it worked.  I think you will have much better luck with Rusty Pickle!  Let us know how you make out...

Mardi?  pictures please!  LOL

Photos are in my gallery and in the button contest! Oh btw, on the large flowers I used 4 instead of 3 like the instructions listed and on the small ones I used 5 instead of what the directions stated.

Mardi, you did an awesome job on that!!  I keep saying I'm going to try one, but it just seems so time consuming and I have SO much on my creative plate right now!!  :Smiley
